Jon Silent is a self taught horror artist from the U.K he uses stark and jarring painting techniques to convey a sense of terror

I work mostly with thick acrylic and pallet knife on canvas, I like the fast and erratic approach it requires to get my desired emotion across.

I'm inspired by many painters both in the dark art and horror fields, but also more contemporary work. I'm very much a fan of Ken Currie, Beksinski, Goya, and of course Francis Bacon.
